Saints and Spinners

Grand Central Terminal is a great train station but it is also used for a variety of other things: craft stalls, exhibitions, a squash competition (transparent court) and this, the 24 hour cycling event, "Saints and Spinners" to help fight teen obesity. There were celebs riding along, a chance to do it yourself, ability to sponsor riders, and an attempt on the 24 hr world spinning record by an elite team of 6 riders. It was organised by the New York Sports Club.
